A sacrefice YOU have endured in the past.
Let us all summon a new spirit to move on:to make District 2 the best in Pontotoc County.
This is our time to put people back to work;work on our County roads;to support our Firefigters and Law Enforcement officers;keep close check of our taxes;work on our recreational opportunities;restore buisness;to open doors of opportunity for our Children and Grandchildren;so they can live good lives in Pontotoc County.
To restore prosperity ;promote the causes of the people of District 2 and Pontotoc County.
Out of many-we are one;that while we breath-we hope-where we are met with cynicism and doubt-those that tell us we can't;we will respond with
that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of the people of District 2 and Pontotoc County
YES WE CAN!
Don't misunderstand people of Pontotoc County don't want County government to solve all their problems.
They know they have to work hard to get ahead and ALL have;it is past time to bring jobs back to Pontotoc County.
We all know we can do better;we want to so it is past time to bring jobs home to Pontotoc County.
Four years ago I stood before you and told you my story of the problems of District 2 through hard work and sacrefice each of us can persue our
indivual dreams but still come together as one family;to ensure that the next generation can persue their dreams as well.
More Pontotoc County people are OUT OF WORK and more are working harder for less;the failure to respond is a direct result of broken politics in Pontotoc County.
Are we better off than in the past- We are a better County than this!
People have watched their jobs move to China the WORLDS GREATEST FURNITURE BUILDERS people who have worked for years
in the same job have had to go home and tell their families.
WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
We have a hard road ahead in the next few years with all the problems with Federal,State.and local governments.
We are ONE COUNTY;we are ONE PEOPLE and our time for CHANGE has come.
Pontotoc County people never quit,never surrender,or never hide from history.
The road ahead will be long;our climb will be steep.
We may not get there in one year but people I have never been more hopeful than I am today that we WILL get there,I promise you,we as
people we will get there.

" WE WILL GET THERE! "
